ANDREA PAPAS

Twenty years ago, Andrea was a depressed, 150 kilogram overweight child. He tried every fad diet imaginable in an attempt to lose weight, but nothing truly worked. No matter what he tried, took, or followed, one diet after another, one pill after another, it ended up doing more harm to his body and mind than good.


After living through those extremes, he came to understand that his unhealthy relationship with food had been shaped by the very methods that were supposed to help him. The unsustainable, restrictive, and extreme approaches he followed only pushed him further into binge eating, weight regain, and a worsening cycle that affected both his physical and mental health. But even in that dark place, he never gave up.


Through every setback, every mistake, and every hard lesson, he found a different path. He committed to changing his life, began a journey of real transformation, and never looked back.

He made the decision to invest in his education and fully pursue his passion for the health and fitness industry. Through years of study, experience, and personal transformation, he came to understand the difference between dogma and true evidence-based practice. By combining scientific literature, research, and real-world application, he was able to build the healthy, strong, and sculpted physique he had worked toward for so long.


Along the way, he also overcame his own fears around food and developed a healthy, balanced relationship with eating. Today, he is leaner, more muscular, and fitter than ever, while maintaining a healthy physique year-round.


His approach to nutrition and training is built around flexibility, structure, and sustainability, allowing him to enjoy food, social events, holidays, and life without feeling restricted or losing control.


Now 41 and pursuing an MSc in Nutrition and Exercise Science, he not only looks the part, but lives the lifestyle he teaches. He believes that health and fitness should enhance your life, not consume it. That means being able to enjoy meals out, spend time with family and friends, travel, and live fully, while still maintaining a lean, healthy, and high-performing body.


His passion now is to help others achieve the same. To guide people toward a leaner, fitter, healthier lifestyle in a way that is realistic, sustainable, and life-changing. The goal is not just physical transformation, but a permanent shift in mindset, habits, confidence, and overall wellbeing, without the pain, confusion, and extreme methods that so often define the fitness industry.


He decided to educate and invest in himself and started studying pursuing his passion in the health and fitness world. He eventually learnt the truth about nutrition and exercise science separating truth from dogma and putting together all the pieces of science, research and all his studies along with his years of experience and education to reach the sculpted lean healthy physique that he battled to reach for so many years.

He eventually defeated his fears with food and finally has a healthy relationship with food. He now maintains a healthy lean physique year round and is stronger and fitter mentally and physically than ever before where food and training doesn't control his life, but he controls it to fit his life enjoying all foods in healthy moderation not being a slave to any more diets.

The inspirational 39 year old health and fitness professional who's pursuing a MSc in Nutrition & Exercise Science not only looks the part but lives the fit lifestyle where he is able to live a life where he can still enjoy all foods in healthy moderation, where he is not restricted in his food choices and eats foods he enjoys and loves. His able to eat out, enjoy social events with friends and family, go on holiday and enjoy himself eating all the foods with without feeling restricted and still maintaining his lean physique year round living a balanced life where fitness doesn't control his life, but something that is part of his life.

By teaching the science, sharing the knowledge he has built over the years, and giving clients the right tools, Andrea aims to help people reach their physique and health goals through methods that are healthy, flexible, sustainable, and tailored to their individual needs and preferences.


Drawing from years of education, practical experience, and a deep training background, Andrea has developed a unique hybrid coaching approach. Through studying and learning alongside respected names in the health and fitness industry such as Alan Aragon, Layne Norton, Eric Helms, Lyle McDonald, Broderick Chavez, Dave Palumbo, and Charles Glass, he has been able to blend evidence-based principles with real-world application to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting results. What makes this approach even more powerful is that clients are not only reaching their goals, but maintaining them.


Andrea has helped transform the lives of thousands of people and has worked with high-level professionals including international cricketer Nic Pothas, professional heavyweight boxer Kevin Lerena, and renowned bodybuilder Kevin Levrone. He has also been featured in Men’s Health International, Men’s Health South Africa, Men Fitness, Musclevolution, and Muscle and Fitness, and has appeared on podcasts around the world where he has shared both his knowledge and personal journey.


His passion is to continue expanding his knowledge and capabilities so he can serve his clients at the highest level possible, while working toward his long-term goal of earning a PhD in Nutritional Sciences.
